This seated Aphrodite wears a characteristic high kalathos-shaped polos and holds her breasts in the manner of Cypriot Aphrodite-Astarte figures. Aphrodite rests her feet on a footstool similar to one Cesnola found in the sanctuary at Golgoi - Agios Photios. This type of Cypriot Aphrodite-Astarte is popular in the Archaic period and even more so in the Classical.
This figure is possibly from Kition - Salines or Salamis.
