DescriptionSquare shawl of cashmere wool tapestry made in India for export. A solid blue central medallion with embroidered Indian or Indian-like inscription is surrounded by large square containing embroidered multicolored paisley design. Shawl is bordered with a wide band of paisley designs, a narrow band of pieced rectangular segments with floral decoration, and fringed edges.
