DescriptionShawl of wool twill tapestry in three pieces; central field is white with deep surrounded with wide and narrow guard bands with meandering floral pattern and rows of small boteh motifs set obliquely to each other; deep borders on each crosswise end with row of large boteh motifs composed of densely arranged floral and plant motifs; colors are dark blue, light green, yellow, red and white. Probably for a European commission.
