DescriptionSeven sherds from an almost-globular shouldered jar: not reconstructed. The sherds are all from the body, leaving no rim or base; however, they can be typed comfortably to 14-2-121 aa because of context and similarity of form. The vessel is entirely wheelmade, with a red slip on the exterior.
ProvenanceFrom Giza, G4733E. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt. (Accession date: June 2, 2022)
