Description17 sherds from a small ovoid storage jar, not reconstructed. The complete rim, neck, and shoulder are preserved as one large sherd and were wheel made. The base is missing, but would have most likely been pointed. The exterior of the vessel would have been well smoothed and covered with a white slip. The rim itself is obscured with mud which was used as to close the vessel, so it is impossible to ascertain the rim type. Possibly // GMPM type AB 2.
ProvenanceFrom Giza, G2330A. 1912: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
