DescriptionSilk-embroidered ivory silk taffeta. Triangular shape, bordered on two short sides with knotted fringe; near long side, a tapered band of same taffeta sewn to cape along one edge, its other edge, scalloped and fringed, hangs free. Garlands of blossoms with heatshaped petals and pointed leaves, embroidered in satin and stem stitch, decorate the edges and scalloped band. Condition good. Worn in Peru by Mrs. Cecil Caverly, of Lowell.
