This small squat globular jar has a rounded base, a short neck, and an outwardly pulled rim. It retains traces of a red wash/slip that shows signs of polishing.
From Kerma, Cemetery S, grave 1036. 1913: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
