Small globular ovoid jar with direct, everted rim and pointed base: reconstructed from sherds and largely complete. The lower portion of the jar was handmade, likely through coiling. The midsection and above was manufactured on the slow wheel or similar turning device. The jar has a white slip on the exterior. Reisner’s type A-II b. // 20.1925


From Giza, G 7530-7540; G 7530. 1927: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
