DescriptionA spencer of white cambric, (now quite yellowed), very short waisted, with slightly flaring collar open down center front; sleeveless, with short cape attached to front and upper arm scye and back of yoke; trimmed with oval medallions of set in loop-brocaded gauze, bottom edge of yoke and edges of cape made of bands of same gauze, edges of medallions and bands embroidered in bullion knot stitch.
