The warp is of violet wool; woven into a piece of brownish violet cloth is a white square with a design in red wool of two rows of human figures, fish and birds separated by narrow borders. On two sides are deep blocks of red. Torn in the lower half of the square. Similar in design and coloring to 09.117, and possibly a piece of the same garment. The design shows Byzantine influence
