DescriptionThe stone is colored greenish-black and white. The base is rounded, and the rim is rolled and everted. The mouth is small. There is a ring at the top. It is broken and mended. Fragments are missing.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Menkaura (Menkaura) Valley Temple, Giza. 1911: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
