DescriptionWood. Name inscribed on top of base.
ProvenanceFrom Saqqara, near the pyramid of King Teti. Early 1920s: excavated by Cecil Firth in the cemeteries around the royal pyramid; 1924: gifted to the MFA by the Egyptian government.
