Obverse: Taras astride dolphin left; upper body in profile; arms outstretched; below scallop shell.
Inscription in Greek at right.
Border of dots.
Reverse: Taras as founder or oikist, seated right; right leg drawn back; in right hand, a staff; in left hand, kantharos held by base; hair short; end of himation hanging down on far side. (Die flaws or traces of overstriking).
Inscription in Greek (retrograde) in left field.
