Obverse: Horseman in military costume on horse cantering to right; upper body turned toward left, head facing; bearded and bareheaded; in short chiton, cuirass with shoulder pieces and boots; right arm raised with open hand, palm facing; above, Nike, flying right, crowns rider with wreath.
Monogram in field at left. Inscription in Greek below horse.
Reverse: Taras riding a dolphin to left, a trident in his left hand, and a Nike crowning him in his right.
Inscription in Greek below dolphin. Monogram in field at right.
