DescriptionThis funerary stela bears painted figures of a husband, wife and son. The top and left are filled in with an offering formula. There is a border of black, red, yellow and green blocks. The crudely drawn figures are typical of the period.
ProvenanceFrom Mesheikh. 1912: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
