DescriptionThis string of beads consists of seven large carnelian ball beads, ten carnelian barrel beads, eleven carnelian ring beads, six shell ring beads, three blue faience biconical beads, four blue faience cylinder beads, and nine blue faience ball beads.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Sheikh Farag SF 166. 1913: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
