This is a string of forty-four brown cylinder beads, two blue ball beads, eighty blue and greenish-blue cylinder beads; amulets. Amulets include schematic Tawerets or wadjet eyes, a Ptah-tanen or Bes, and cross-hatched plaques.
From Kerma, K 1031 / 5b. Excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Sudan.
