DescriptionThis string of beads consists of 116 blue-green faience ball beads, one glass barrel bead, one black faience ball bead, fifteen quatrefoil faience beads, and two carnelian discs. Also included are two carnelian foot amulets, two carnelian hippo beads, one faience wedjat eye, and one amazonite hawk.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Sheikh Farag SF 56. 1913: Excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
