Bought by Benjamin Waldo Lamb at the sale in 1863 of John Hancock's possessions; his daughter, Rosanna Duncan Lamb, m. Joseph Warren Revere (1812-1880), grandsaon of the patriot; her cousin, Horatio Appleton Lamb.
