Anatomical illustrations of the human skeleton and musculature; decorative title vignette

First English translation of Albinus's work, first published in Leiden in 1747. A Latin edition also appeared in London in 1749. The plates in this edition are copies of those by Jan Wandelaar in the first ed. The title vignette is by Scotin after Blakey.

This copy is lacking pl. XVIII from the muscles and its related leaf of text .
