DescriptionThe stone is wavy-lined and fine-grained with horizontal bands of white. The base is flat, and the rim is broken off. It is broken and mended. Fragments are missing.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Menkaura Valley Temple, Giza. 1911: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
