DescriptionMaple. Cylindrical. Carved scroll handle with shield shaped tip and tall purchase. Bands of carving on base, lip and cover. Three carved feet, medallion on bottom and APD. Wooden hinge, domed cover with richly caved medallion enclosing animal on top. Handle mended with brass screw. Worn lettering on front ESH - vertically.
