DescriptionWarp of natural-colored linen; weft of natural-colored linen and brown wool; fragment of a tapestry square with a design of a central roundel enclosing two addorsed equestrian figures and surrounded by scrolled branch motifs of which the two on the lower two corners enclose a male figure holding a hare on the right and a similar figure holding a bird on the lower left; between these are two scrolled motifs, each enclosing a panther (?); the upper half of the square is torn; framed by a fringe-like border; the tapestry square is sewn onto a linen piece.
