DescriptionGround: cream linen cloth; stained and worn at edges. At top are two narrow stripes of green and yellow which enclose strip of unwoven warps, probably indicating end of loop-length. Design: Kufic inscription (.065 high) in brown silk tapestry. Inscription: "In the name of God the Compassionate the Merciful. El Muti'lillah, Commander of the faithful..." See note.
