DescriptionWarp of linen; ground of red wool; design of a haloed female figure in a rectangular area, linear oval motifs are in the lower half of the band; woven with blue, green, red and yellow wool and natural-colored linen. Most of the wool weft in the lower half of the band has been destraoyed and in many places only the warp threads and outlines of linen remain. Rounded at one end. Probably a fragment of a shoulder band; sewed on to a piece of linen. The design shows Byzantine influence.
