DescriptionWarp of linen; ground of red wool with a design of natural colored linen and traces of green wool. Design shows a central medallion enclosing a standing female figure with raised arms; flanking the medallion are two horizontal areas with motifs of trees and lions. The shape and the size of the tapestry suggest that it was probably used as a sleeve band.
