Warp of linen, ground of red wool, with designs of light and dark blue, green and yellow wool; ground of the outer bands is of light green wool with semi-circular yellow branch motifs. Design in the fragment consists of two roundels, one frames two standing female figures of which one is haloed; Greek letters are between the two figures and on the right side of the roundel; the other roundel of which the middle part is torn, shows two standing male figures; the borders of the roundels enclose a scroll with floral motifs on both sides. Design shows Byzantine influence.
