DescriptionGround of red wool, warp of linen; an all over outlined design of branches forming oval and lozenge-shaped motifs, each encloses alternately a bird (peacock ?) and a candelabra-like motif that stems from a vase (?); of natural colored linen; sewed into a fragment of natural-colored linen fabric. Color and design suggest an imitation of Byzantine silk. Probably part of a furnishing textile; Similar to 10.154.
