DescriptionTeapot of truncated cone shaped handle, octagonal spout and domed cover topped with flower finial. Bleu lapis ground with two shaped reserves on each side of pot, two on cover, and one underneath spout, each decorated with flying birds in polychrome enamels on white ground. Reserves enclosed by elaborate trellis and floral gilding.
Marks In blue on unglazed base, interlaced Ls enclosing date letter A with dot below the A and a dot above and at each side of the Ls.
