Said to come from the Cathedral of Palermo [see note 1]. Claudius Côte, Lyon; sold by Côte, through Christoph Bernoulli, Basel, to Adolph Loewi, Los Angeles; 1948, sold by Loewi to the MFA for $190. (Accession Date: May 13, 1948)
