DescriptionImpression from re-bitten plate. Paris impression.
This plate, like Fulham (No. 22), was published in Paris without Haden's permission. I am not certain which is the pirated version. Because of Haden's relationship with Delâtre in the 1860's and 1870's, I do not believe that Delâtre would have been a party to such a conspiracy, or permitted his name to be used on the pirated edition. Perhaps Cadart & Luquet did print the plate without Haden's permission; however, the state without any signature or inscription seems to be a later printing.
