Proof before the dedication to Francesco Maria della Rovere, in place of which is spliced the printed dedication of Vincentio Serafini to Signore Cesare Menconi of Perugia. This is surmounted by a woodcut-printed blank escutheon which has been modified in pen with a bend between two stars, perhaps Menconi’s armorial bearings (?). The new dedication is dated 1634.

In this impression, the dedication to Francesco Maria delle Rovere, and an area above the dedication, have been cut out and replaced with a dedication to Cesare Menconi and a coat of arms. The new dedication is dated 1634.
