DescriptionA short full theater cape with two long rectangular lappets in front, main part of cape of gray velvet, lined throughout with pink faille, gathered yoke at top of faille overlaid with elaborate relief bobbin lace made with linen, gold, and green metallic yarns, short gathered standing collar lined with pink ostrich feathers; a cloth of gold belt attached at center back inside cape. Printed label at neck, originally gold now green: MAISON MANCHON ROLAND Peyret Tannin Succr. ROBES 7 Rue de Commandant Rivière, Paris.
