Tilt-top tea table with round top, simple turned columnar pedestal with ring turnings at top and bottom, supported by three cabriole legs ending in shoed pad feet; top secured with two cleats and to hinge block at top of column with brass catch; iron brace reinforces joint of legs; top of pedestal secured to block with threaded post.
Purchased by Ellen Loomis McMurry and Bryce E. McMurry, the donors, Palm Springs, California, in 1968 from an unknown source in North Carolina; given to the Museum in 1997 (Accession Date 1997)
