Horseshoe-shaped tongs with acorn-shaped ends. Handle flares outward towards center, then curves in at shoulder, widens again at top. Decorated with cut-card engraving on edges and modified bellflower design on each handle. Top of handle engraved with “A” in script. Each side of handle marked on inside with identical marks: “G Atkin” in script, in rounded rectangle. Inside of acorn-shaped ends are hollow and textured.
