DescriptionCoarse tabby-woven linen, embroidered at each end with heavy polychrome silks and flat silver wire in satin, herringbone, double darning, cross and star stitches. Pattern shows bands, blocks and conventional leaves. Discolored and stained. Remains of five tassels at each end.
