DescriptionWhite linen embroidered with red; mostly in cross stitch with a little chain and herringbone stitches; from top to bottom: turned over end with warp fringe, and CATHARINA HEISESIN; a ground of stars and conventionalized plants with flowering heart in center surrounded by initials, heart and CH 1820; flowering plant flanked by stars and lozenges; two bands of flowering plants and perching birds; two small perching birds flanked by peacocks; three rows of warp fringe at bottom; two tapes for hanging at top.
