DescriptionTowel (two ends sewed together). Ground: unbleached linen with stripes of heavier cotton weft. Design: across each end three plants bearing a variety of flowers, worked in double running with several shades of pink, lavender, blue, green, and yellow silk, with stems and outlines worked with gold thread (gilded silver wound on yellow silk). Fringe at each end. Stained.
