DescriptionOne of a pair of two-handled bowls, the sides engraved with a later coat-of- arms (Abercromby d'Aboukir)
InscriptionsMaker's Mark: probably a crowned fleur-de-lis, two grains, AB, a tower, but isincomplete (Dennis, 72). Warden's Mark: 1785-1786: a crowned P with an 85 (Dennis, 268). CHarge Mark: for large work, 1783-1789: a crowned A (Dennis, 339). Discharge Mark: for small work, 1786-1789: a parrot's head (Dennis, 9).
