DescriptionThe bell-shaped body, raised from sheet, is chased on the lower third with spiral fluting and foliate punches. A band of chased gadrooning around the shoulder of the cup is framed above and below with foliate punches. A scrolled and foliate cartouche with a ground of scales is chased on the front of the cup. The two cast handles are ear-shaped with scrolling termini.
