DescriptionHeavy white silk faille, now cream color, trimmed with gauze-like silk ruching. Bodice (a) straight and narrow, straight across bottom; pleated panels center front and back. Shoulders and sleeves made of fine machine lace of needlepoint type. High, stiff collar. Skirt (b) straight and narrow, flat in front, slightly gathered behind; short train. Narrow pleated panels run from waistband down. A number of brown stains; hem slightly soiled and worn.
