U.S. NAVY. Bluejackets on the Cruiser "Chicago" and their Mascot.

BLUEJACKETS ON THE CRUISER "CHICAGO" AND THEIR MASCOT. The enlisted men of every ship in the Navy have a mascot of some kind. Many odd birds and animals have thus been domesticized on our warships but the bluejackets of the Cruiser "Chicago" broke the record when they secured as a mascot a big bear which they named Brinski. Bruin was taught to do many tricks and to wrestle with the athletic sailors.
