U.S. NAVY. Cruiser "Baltimore".


CRUISER "BALTIMORE". Built in Philadelphia. 328 feet long and 48 feet broad, with a displacement of about 5,500 tons. Speed nearly 21 knots per hour. Horse-power, 10,064. Cost, about $1,325,000. Armament consists primarily of twelve 6-inch guns and six 14-pounder rapid firers, together with numerous automatic guns. Complement, 30 officers and 350 men.
