U.S. NAVY. Gun Drill on the Monitor "Florida."

GUN DRILL ON THE MONITOR "FLORIDA". A considerable portion of the whole time which the average United States naval seaman spends on duty is devoted to gun drills and target practice. This glimpse of life on board the "Florida" shows a gun crew engaged in training or sighting one of the breech-loading rifles of the secondary battery.
