DescriptionGround: cotton and linen; four pieces sewn together. Design: scalloped lower edge edmbroidered with scrolling bands filled with flowers; scallops divide valance into eight compartments of which five to left contain flowering fruit trees and three to right contain exotic birds. Worked with polychrome wools in chain stitch with a few details in French knots. Some holes and mends, some black yarns rotted out.
