Fragment. Painted plaster on limestone block; part of an offering scene. Inscription below black horizontal register line preserves the end of a phrase mentioning from right to left servants of the funerary estate of the tomb owner. Plucked and bound ducks painted yellow with spots, intended as offering, appear below the inscription.


From Giza, debris between G 5230 and 5110. January 1915. Excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
