Obv: Inscribed THE LOVER OF PEACE / FOR THE COLONIES’ BIRTHRIGHT / HE ESPOUSED THE SWORD around a circle enclosing a nude bust to right with 1775 - 100 YEARS - 1875 above and signed I.F.W. DES and G.H.L. FEC to the left and right, the whole surrounded by a plain rim.
Rev: Inscribed CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS, JUNE THIRD 1875 / CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION around a circle enclosing an image of a house and tree with THE WASHINGTON / ELM and ISAAC F. WOOD’S SERIES “C” NO. 4 below. The whole is surrounded by a plain rim.
