DescriptionIvory corded silk decorated with pearls. Bodice gathered and elaborately pleated front and back; narrow standing collar covered with pearl embroidered net; short, pleated sleeves trimmed with a row of pearls and bobbin lace. Skirt full and elaborately pleated; panel of pearl--embroidered net down front center; short train; elaborate petticoat of ivory taffeta and organdy, trimmed with white net, ruchings and machine bobbin-type lace. Condition fair; net broken and rotting in many places. Silk well preserved. Belonged to Ellen Nichols Wood (Mrs. Harry S. Hall).
