Wide oval band with one pointed side; neck opening of corresponding shape. Made of two concentric bands joined together. In the outer band, undulating scrolls form rounded compartments in each of which is a floral spray. Narrower (inner) band shows a row of flowers of various kinds and ferns. Sparse open work decorated with plain brides and brides picotées; square mesh ground. Small fragments of white silk not sewn to inner edge, together with two snap fasteners. Fair condition; yellowed.
