The Gorgon wears a fringed chiton and is running on an elongated Ionic capital. Both hands hold a small object pressed tightly against the body. While flat and evidently a piece of decoration, the figure is not a relief, being finished as carefully on the back as on the front, except the base, where it was attached to another object. Green patina, once encrusted but now cleaned.
